Lenten Series: Service of Healing

Join us on Tuesdays each week during Lent, February 28th through March 28th. This service is designed to offer a Lenten prayer discipline, as well as meet the pastoral needs of our congregation over the past weeks and months. The service of healing allows us time set apart for special prayers of healing and reconciliation, with options available for laying on of hands and anointing for mind, body, and spirit. There will be no music or Holy Communion during this service, but lots of silent pauses for reflection. There will also be candles to light to represent our prayers for ourselves and others, as well as materials available for extended time in the church for meditation and contemplation. We hope this service each week will foster a holy Lent and prepare our hearts for the celebration of Easter.

A special day of reconciliation will be offered during Holy Week on Tuesday, April 4, for those who would like to receive the Rite of Reconciliation. This will be offered in the church by appointment. Please see the special event for this service for more details.
