BOOK STUDY: Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times, Bishop Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church
This book is the story of Presiding Bishop Curry’s life that focuses on the power of love and opens the topic of Beloved Community through sharing his lived experiences.
Purpose of this series: “...to explain what the way of love looks like…”, to introduce and explore what “building Beloved Community” means; and to discern how we might love more and become more like the Beloved Community. As we read this book together, we will discuss highlights, share insights, explore questions, connect scripture, and discover more clearly what love has to do with becoming the Beloved Community of God’s dreams.
